Position Overview
Our client, a global leader in financial services, is looking to bolster their team by bringing on a strategic lead for their PMO IRRBB programme. This position plays a vital part in managing a portfolio of projects, working across different teams and driving global initiatives. You can anticipate a challenging role that will allow you to expand your skills in a dynamic capital markets environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the flawless tracking of KPI performance across various projects.
- Monitor and control risks and issues within the project portfolio.
- Efficiently manage and update project documentation, adopting project standards across all projects.
- Coordinate regular project and programme level reporting, preparing for meetings and presentations.
- Lead the project and programme level governance meetings, creating reports in Clarity, Jira and Confluence.
- Drive the collection, processing and collation of project information from stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and directing global initiatives/projects/programmes.
- Background in system development lifecycle methodology techniques and documentation.
- Qualification within SAFe, Prince2, Agile Programme Management / PMI, Scrum-master.
- Understanding of operations, risk and finance in investment banking.
- Exceptional organisational, planning and management skills.
- Proven experience in negotiation and influence with peers and higher management in both business and technical departments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach to solution delivery.
