Position Overview
This is a unique opportunity to oversee the Model Governance function in the Global Finance Analytics (GFA) team based in Krakow, Poland. As the Senior Manager, you’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing model risk data and advocating for strategic initiatives in the Model Risk Governance sector. Spearheading such efforts, your role will be pivotal in supporting operational functionality, strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the GFA Model Risk, Model Governance and Analytics Strategy team.
- Engage in governance forums with senior stakeholders from different sectors – Finance, Risk and Business.
- Implement project management support on Model Risk Governance initiatives across Global Finance.
- Undertake the meticulous analysis and reporting of model risk data for Global Finance.
- Manage the project plan for SS1/23 implementation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Present regular updates to SS1/23 Lead, detailing progress, risks, and issues.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in an analytical discipline such as science, business, economics, finance or accounting.
- Demonstrate experience in model governance, management or policy development. Experience in model development, monitoring or validation would be a welcome advantage.
- Exhibit proven collaboration skills and a knack for working across boundaries effectively.
- Be adept at communicating with and managing a large and diverse stakeholder population.
- Show expertise in performing analysis, communicating outcomes, and challenging stakeholders constructively.
- Familiarity with GMIS and or Helios would be beneficial, but not essential.
