Our client, a prominent international bank, is seeking a Stress Testing, Recovery & Resolution Steward to become a part of their esteemed team, supporting treasury risk management activities.
Position Overview
In this integral role, you’ll use your expertise in Treasury Risks to deliver stress testing processes, review and challenge the risk elements of the Group submissions, and support the Group Recovery Plan. As a cog in the large wheel of the finance risk team, your work will directly impact the overall risk management strategy, making a notable impression on the Group’s financial stability.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with Group and Regional Treasury Risk stewards to deliver Stress Testing processes within regulatory and internally mandated timelines
- Rigorously analyse and validate Stress Testing results, providing insightful commentary on various Internal and Regulatory Stress Test exercises
- Play a supportive role in the development and maintenance of the Group Recovery Plan
- Establish working relationships with Regional and Global Treasury Risk managers to understand key Portfolio Risk and escalate issues
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Treasury Risks and a sound understanding of Stress Testing and Recovery and Resolution related regulation and processes
- Degree in a quantitative discipline, backed by strong analytical and numerical skills
- Prior experience working with extensive sets of data
- Excellent ability to interpret complex risk reports from multiple sources
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adeptness at forming strong working relationships are a must.
