Position Overview
This multi-national entity is on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager to independently spearhead intricate projects and transformation programmes. As a key player, you will manage various project workstreams, anticipate potential risks, develop communication strategies, and ensure all initiatives are met in a timely fashion. Demonstrating strong leadership skills, you’ll also cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Independently drive complex end-to-end projects and transformation programmes, ensuring all run-on time and within budget constraints
- Manage multitude workstreams from process reviews and migrations to continuous improvement strategies and automation procedures.
- Evaluate programme or project progress at key points, anticipating potential risks and devising efficient mitigation plans.
- Obtain buy-ins from management and relevant stakeholders for various programme plans, ensuring that all include clearly defined commitments, requirements, quality assurance plans, budgets, and contingencies.
- Develop an effective reporting and communication strategy, coordinating between stakeholders for progress reviews and key decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation in accordance with company guidelines and methodologies.
- Supervise project deliverables, maintaining a high level of quality, and ensuring all project aims are met.
Requirements
- Over four years of professional project/programme management experience dealing with multiple stakeholders at an international level.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a solid background in process improvement and/or migration projects
- Analytical skills and data literacy – with expertise in collecting, analysing, and interpreting process and project data.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform well under pressure, with solid work organisational skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset, self-driven and proactive approach
- Excellent understanding of banking industry, finance area, accounting and reporting processes will be beneficial.
- Project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile/PM, PMP) considered a plus
