Position Overview
Providing specialist knowledge in Treasury Risk, the successful candidate will fuse technical expertise and relationship-building skills to optimise stress testing and risk management. This role is key to ensuring the organisation’s compliance with regulatory requirements and solidifying our reputation for excellence. It offers the opportunity to be part of an engaging team and utilise unique insights to refine current strategies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of the Stress Testing Framework
- Coordinate and engage with primary Risk Stewards to ensure timely delivery of Stress Testing activities.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of regulatory reporting processes relating to stress testing and refine model assumptions accordingly.
- Provide constructive criticism and review Strategic Management Actions processes.
- Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, CFOs, and CROs, providing professional and timely updates.
- Assist the Assurance team by contributing to the refinement of the control environment within Stress Testing processes.
- Monitor and track issues pertaining to Stress Testing risks, working to mature the Risk and Control Library
Requirements
- An excellent understanding of Treasury Risks and familiarity with Stress Testing related regulation and processes
- Professionalism and competency in determining risk measures, monitoring, and management.
- Ability to form high-level relationships and effectively influence key figures within the organisation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, alongside strong decision-making abilities
- Experience in Treasury or Treasury Risk Management within a large financial organisation.
- Candidates must possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a numerate subject. Qualifications in accounting and/or finance are beneficial.
