Our client, a prominent global financial services company, is seeking an experienced AVP TES to drive advanced analytics and AI initiatives within their Regulatory Compliance department. This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in data science, machine learning, and AI to develop innovative solutions that enhance regulatory compliance processes.
Position Overview
As the AVP TES, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Regulatory Conduct AI & Analytics team in developing cutting-edge analytical models and solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the effective management of regulatory risk, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced analytical models and AI solutions for regulatory compliance
- Analyse complex data sets to generate actionable insights
- Create data visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate top and emerging risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and best practices
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision making
Requirements
- University degree in technology, data analytics, or related discipline
- Experience in financial services or related industry
- Solid understanding of applied mathematics, statistics, and data science principles
- Proficiency in analytical languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik and Tableau
- Knowledge of data architecture concepts, including cloud, ETL, and data modeling
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
