Position Overview
As a DQM Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with model governance policies throughout the model lifecycle, collaborating with model owners, validators, and stakeholders to manage model risk effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with model owners to ensure policy compliance
- Maintain accurate and complete model inventory records
- Track model status, validation, approval, and performance metrics
- Assist in coordinating periodic model reviews and validations
- Prepare and present model governance reports to management
- Identify opportunities to automate governance processes
- Monitor and manage model risk issues and remediation
- Provide guidance on governance policies and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in model governance or risk management
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., SR 11-7, SS1/23)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel)
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
