Our client is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate General Nurse to join their team in Saudi Arabia. Position Overview

As a General Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care and ensuring optimal health outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and established guidelines. This position requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to providing compassionate care in a culturally diverse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, pain, and overall health status
  • Monitor patient progress and document clinical observations in accordance with hospital protocols
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and established guidelines
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and family members regarding patient care and treatment plans
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care
  • Perform routine procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, catheterization, and oxygen therapy
  • Assist in emergency situations and participate in resuscitation efforts as required
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with legal and ethical standards
  • Record accurate and timely patient information in electronic medical records
  • Report any changes in patient conditions or incidents to the appropriate healthcare professionals promptly

 

Requirements

  • Valid nursing license and a recognised nursing degree (Diploma or Bachelor’s) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Familiarity with international healthcare standards and cultural sensitivity in a diverse work environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
