This industry leader is currently seeking an experienced IT Delivery Lead to join their dynamic SAGE team in Krakow, Poland. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by spearheading the delivery of critical IT projects and collaborating with global stakeholders to drive the organization’s success.
Position Overview
As the IT Delivery Lead for SAGE, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of delivery, including budget, procurement, and execution. You will work closely with vendors and stakeholders to define and prioritize the vendor roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s priorities. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be managing the HSBC book of work, ensuring that vendor and development teams, alongside business and transformation teams, are aligned with deadlines and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of delivery, including budget, procurement, and execution
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to define and prioritize the vendor roadmap, ensuring alignment with company priorities
- Oversee the HSBC book of work, ensuring alignment between vendor, development, business, and transformation teams regarding priorities and deadlines
- Establish and enforce quality processes, including risk identification and assessment
- Facilitate transparency and communication among global stakeholders through appropriate forums, such as Programme Steering Committees (PSC) and project-related forums
- Foster relationships with the Global SAGE IT team and Business teams
- Work closely with SAGE product owners to ensure a constant flow of deconstructed and translated work items into respective pod backlogs
- Collaborate with other streams under the SAGE team to drive the standard of IT service and deliver common capabilities
- Adopt Agile & DevOps methodologies to enhance working efficiency and transparency
Requirements
- Solid experience in technical ownership and driving business operation transformation
- Strong capability in leading organizational transformation
- Proven experience in financial planning and management, including budgeting for teams across different business units
- Vendor management experience and proven track record in managing outcomes
- Demonstrable success in project management methods and techniques
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps development practices
- Experience and passion for people development, team structure design, and maintenance
- Ability to manage multiple challenging stakeholders globally with conflicting priorities
- Qualification in Information Technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
