This esteemed financial institution is currently seeking an experienced IT Platform Lead to join their dynamic team in Krakow, Poland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business operation transformation and leading organizational change within the company.
Position Overview
As the IT Platform Lead, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of delivery, including budget, procurement, and delivery. In collaboration with vendors and stakeholders, you will define and prioritize the vendor roadmap alongside the company’s priorities. Your role will involve ensuring that quality processes are defined and adhered to by vendors and the IT team, while identifying and assessing potential risks.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of delivery, including budget, procurement, and delivery
- Work with vendors and stakeholders to define and prioritize the vendor roadmap alongside the company’s priorities
- Ensure that quality processes are defined and adhered to by vendors and the IT team
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with the project
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure full transparency between global stakeholders through appropriate forums
- Develop relationships with the global IT team and business teams
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure a constant flow of work items into the respective pod backlogs
- Drive the standard of IT service to deliver common capabilities across different streams
Requirements
- Solid experience in technical ownership and driving business operation transformation
- Strong capability in leading organizational transformation
- Proven experience in financial planning and management, including budgeting for teams across different business units
- Vendor management experience and proven success in managing outcomes
- Demonstrable success in project management methods and techniques
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps development practices
- Experience and passion for people development and team structure design and maintenance
- Ability to manage multiple challenging stakeholders globally with conflicting priorities
- Qualification in Information Technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
