Our client, a global banking and financial services organisation, is seeking a skilled Manager (Model Risk Reporting Specialist) to join their Model Risk Management (MRM) Infrastructure team in Krakow, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in managing model risk and supporting data-driven decision making.
Position Overview
As a Manager (Model Risk Reporting Specialist), you will play a crucial role in delivering scalable data models, aggregating critical data elements from model risk systems, and ensuring data views are prepared to support solution delivery and ad-hoc business requirements. You will contribute to the production of high-quality reports, dashboards, and management information to enable effective model risk management across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver scalable data models aggregating critical data elements from model risk systems
- Support the delivery of Model Risk Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) reporting, ensuring BCBS239 compliance
- Deliver timely and accurate reports and solutions to support model risk management
- Contribute to the production of high-quality Business Requirement Documents for model risk systems
- Provide model risk reporting dashboards and management information for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse model risk reports to identify changes and trends in model risk profile and policy adherence
- Support analytical and quantitative change projects to enable efficient and effective model risk management
- Suggest enhancements to processes and reporting to drive efficiency across the model life cycle
Requirements
- Knowledge of tools such as OpenPages, Cognos, SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence
- Knowledge of Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Alteryx (advantageous)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large data sets (mandatory)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile delivery management methodology
- Understanding of model development or model risk management processes
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle
- Professional experience in data visualisation, data reporting, and risk analytics
- Experience working in a mature Agile delivery pattern
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Project management experience (advantageous)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Innovative thinking and ability to apply latest ways of working flexibly
- Ability to understand complex data and resolve issues in building analytic tools
- Team-oriented mentality combined with ability to work independently to a high standard
