Our client is currently looking for a self-motivated Senior Programme Manager (Director Level) to join their Data team in Krakow, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in driving the organisation’s data strategy and leading the delivery of critical programmes.

Position Overview

As a Programme Manager within the Data Risk & Compliance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, business analysts, and contingent project resources across multiple locations. Your primary focus will be the overall execution of the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting (IRR) programme, utilising the Agile methodology. You will have holistic oversight of the relevant product development roadmaps and adoption plans, with a specific focus on delivering the uplift of Regulatory Reporting Data Sources (Applications) to Trusted Source.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery execution of the Trusted Source Project as part of the IRR Programme overall plan
  • Be accountable for programme delivery strategy and approach across a series of capabilities, projects, or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments, and changes
  • Lead Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and PMOs on a high-profile global delivery to ensure commitments are met across budget, benefits, schedule, and scope
  • Partner with Product and SMEs in the annual planning and forecasting process
  • Drive stakeholder discussions related to delivery strategy, scope, capabilities, and budget
  • Serve as an escalation point to manage risks, issues, and dependencies, providing solutions-oriented consultation to integrated team leads
  • Establish effective controls, procedures, and quality assurance processes to promote consistency of outputs across all deliverables in line with the Change Framework and the organisation’s Risk and Controls framework
  • Provide leadership, set team performance expectations, and monitor progress
  • Supervise a team, managing delivery and reporting for complex assignments

Requirements

  • Exceptional understanding of Data, particularly in regulatory reporting and delivery
  • Excellent knowledge of financial institutions and financial services
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Programme Manager, with extensive skills in managing large and complex global deliveries in a change environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate high-performing global teams in multiple locations
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, from Exco/Managing Director level to analysts, specialising in impactful communication
  • Proven delivery of on-time and on-budget programmes that achieve business case stated outcomes
  • Experience in applying Agile methodology in programme and product development
  • Impeccable written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Exposure and success working within a global matrix organisation model
  • Agile certification(s) an advantage (e.g., SAFe)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
