We have been given a fantastic opportunity with a global corporation at the forefront of risk analytics. They are actively seeking a Python Quant Developer for their risk analytics team based in Krakow, Poland.
Position Overview
In this contract role, as a Python Quant Developer, you’ll be a valuable part of our client’s Global Risk Analytics (GRA) team. This team is recognised globally for the development of risk models across financial sectors along with operational risks. They’re not just known for creating tools and standards but are instrumental in enhancing compliance in the enterprise. Our client is seeking enthusiastic professionals with experience in enterprise development and a good understanding of software architectural patterns.
Responsibilities
- Transforming code from quantitative teams into production-ready services.
- Developing and enhancing the quantitative library using Python.
- Collating and collaborating closely with GRA Modellers, IT teams, and Front Office personnel to create synergies across different functions and departments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise development in Python or in any of these: C++/C or Java, C#, R, MATLAB etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of Python 3.
- Understands software architectural patterns.
- Knowledge of application development life cycle.
- Familiarity with agile practices.
- Excellent understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
- You display high levels of teamwork and adaptability, contributing to an international team.
