A leading global banking institution is currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager to oversee their Recovery and Resolution Planning efforts. This is a pivotal role that sits at the core of the organisation’s strategy to maintain robust financial practices and regulatory alignment.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager for Recovery and Resolution Planning will ensure the effective management of financial stresses and support the successful execution of recovery measures. Positioned within the company’s strategic operations, you will play a significant role in upholding the company’s financial integrity, contributing towards the sustainability of both the institution and the wider financial system. The right candidate will be integral in liaising with regulators and facilitating a strong recovery framework across global business lines.
Responsibilities
- Uphold management action and restructuring standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory expectations.
- Execute tests on Recovery and Restructuring strategies in response to financial stress scenarios.
- Deliver high quality reporting to ECB, PRA, and other regulators with ownership of data integrity.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders across various functions to align management actions and controls.
- Provide accurate management action and restructuring MI and ad hoc reporting.
Requirements
- Expertise in risk, liquidity, or capital management fields
- Degree educated with experience in Treasury or Finance reporting areas.
- Proficient in presenting complex data in an understandable format.
- Skilled in data quality management with a track record of remediation
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling large data volumes.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
